Soon the class is caught up in a strange phenomenon where the students and people started dying in gruesome ways. The people started realizing that the students started dying in strange ways like the ‘Misaki of 1972’. Now, Kochi and Mei need to figure out how to stop it before more people die in strange ways.

But unlike in other schools, the hierarchy is determined by gambling. The new transfer student, Yumeko Jabami, changes the whole system of the school as soon as she steps in.

The series centres around Light, who is hell-bent on creating a world of massacre. Death Note ran in the Shueisha’s weekly shonen magazine from December 2003 to May 2006. It is one of the most famous anime among beginners.
